László Schläfer specialises primarily in the fields of medicinal chemistry, agricultural chemistry and biochemistry. He also has considerable practical experience in the protection of plant varieties.
László joined Danubia Patent and Law Office in 1980.
After graduating as a chemical engineer, specialising in medicinal chemistry and biochemistry, from Budapest University of Technology in 1976, he went to work for Chinoin where he dealt primarily with stability testing active pharmaceutical ingredients at one of the firm’s research laboratories.
He has been a Hungarian patent attorney since 1983 and a European patent attorney since 2003.
He obtained an intermediate qualification in 1980 and went on to complete an advanced qualification between 1981 and 1983 in industrial property rights protection through training programmes organised by Danubia.
