]]> An online Pan-European Conference named ’Sharing is Caring: Pooling IP Assits for Greater Efficiency’ by LES Hungary took place on 5-6 October 2021. Danubia and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office were Platinum Level Sponsors for the event.

A limited number of people could attend the event on site as well. The venue was provided by Danubia as a main sponsor. The participants could hear high-quality presentations from a wide range of Hungarian and International IP organisations, industrial players and legal representatives. The two-days long conferenced was opened by Dr. István Molnár, President of LES Hungary. Three of our colleagues, Dr. Eszter Szakács, Dr. Mihály Lantos and Levente Pethő were also among the presenters and moderators.

It was an extremely useful and successful event what we would like to thank all the speakers and the participants!

A seminar organized by LES Hungary took place on last Friday (February 28, 2020) at Danubia Group HQ with the title of ‘Artificial Intelligence and IP’. The event was devoted to the issue of the changing role of intellectual property protection, and to the shifting requirements for the different stakeholders of the IP industry in an ecosystem where artificial intelligence gains more and more presence and importance.

The English language morning session was opened by Mr. István Molnár, President of LES Hungary. This problem statement was followed by the high quality, awareness-raising presentations of Mr. Manuel Desantes, and Mr. Péter Mezei. To enable foreign participants to join and benefit from the unique occasion, the morning event was broadcasted on the internet via webinar.

The afternoon session was composed of two in-depth analyses held by two specialists of Danubia Patent and Law Office Ltd., namely by Mr. Gábor Harangozó, and Ms. Patrícia Beregszászi.

We would like to express our gratitude to the speakers as well as to the participants of the day.

]]> Our colleagues visited to Vienna on 21-22 November 2019 to participate in the conference „IP Concert in 2 Movements”, which was held on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of LES (Licensing Executives Society) Austria.

They heared several interesting presentation on IP & Law and IP & Pharma as well. We are proud that one of our colleagues, István Molnár presented the IP Prosecution in the Pharma Industry.

]]> The Annual Conference of the Hungarian IP Association, the biggest Hungarian IP conference of our profession took place on November 21-22. Roughly 140 colleagues took part at the 2 days conference.

Dr. Judit Lantos has hold a presentation with the title: “IP Mediation before WIPO and EUIPO: Why is mediation good for lawyers and patent attorneys”. The speaker has shared her experiences gained at several mediation conferences and courses with many professionals who participated. She hopes that mediation and its approach can be spread also in Hungary.
