Levente Pethő primarily assists clients of Danubia Group in innovation- and intellectual property (IP) related business processes, where he has considerable experience in developing and improving intellectual property management processes, technology transfer and expert tasks involved in the market utilisation of intellectual property. He has led numerous local and international IP valuation projects, which have included transfer pricing, accounting, financing, litigation and transaction assignments with respect to different forms of intellectual property across multiple sectors of industry. In addition, he has gained extensive experience in issues related to IP management in organizations and commercial exploitation, including IP tax incentives, R&D qualification procedures, negotiating and executing IP transactions, and developing inventor remuneration and company group IP management schemes.
Since 2025, Levente is member of the Copyright Expert Committee (SZJSZT) as an expert witness responsible for valuation issues; president of the LES-Hungary Association, vice-president of the LES International IP Valuation Committee; and since 2023, vice-president of the AMAVI Association.
Levente joined Danubia and Danubia IP in 2012, when he obtained an intermediate qualification in industrial property rights protection through a training programme organised by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office and qualified as an innovation management consultant at the European Innovation Management Academy established by the European Commission. Since 2017 he had overseen the operational activities of Danubia IP, from 2024 he works in the role of managing director.
He graduated in economics, specialising in management theory, from Corvinus University of Budapest School of Economics in 2011, before going on to complete his master’s studies in economics, specialising in organisational management and process organisation from the same university.
