Patent Paralegal responsible for online submission of European and international patent applications

Zsófia Loessl Tiborcz has considerable experience in many fields of patent administration, ably assisting clients in matters ranging from preparing patent applications right through to the granted patent rights ceasing. Her responsibilities include conducting English and Hungarian language correspondence with the competent patent offices and liaising with clients, keeping track of deadlines and undertaking the preparatory work for actual steps arising in the course of patenting procedures, such as responding to decisions, making good any formal irregularities or omissions in an application and settling payment for any necessary fees.

Zsófia joined Danubia Patent and Law Office in 1983. As a patent paralegal she assists the work of the firm’s Chemical Department, primarily the biotechnology team, and is also tasked with handling online submissions of European and international patent applications.

Zsófia graduated from the College of Foreign Trade in 1988 before going to obtain an intermediate qualification in industrial property rights protection the following year through a training programme organised by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office. She has also attended a number of training programmes on online patent administration organised by the European Patent Office and WIPO.
